Oral History: Wilkes, Casey

Originally from New York, Casey Wilkes served as a Marine with the 2d Battalion, 6 ^th Marines from 1960 through 1963. During the Cuban Missile Crisis he spent that entire period off the coast of Cuba in a large amphibious ship in the event his unit was called to make an invasion. He left the Marines as a corporal and now lives in San Antonio, TX.
