Lisa Wickstrom enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1977. She was an airplane repairman and stationed in Fort Dix, NJ. In 1983, she entered the Army Reserves as an interrogator and served at Camp Mabry in Austin. In 1989, she joined the Navy Reserves in New Orleans, LA, and served as an aerographer’s mate. During this time, Ms. Wickstrom also attended college and became an attorney. In 2006, she became an officer and was a Judge Advocate, spending time in Fort Benning, Georgia; Charlottesville, Virginia; Camp Shelby, Mississippi; and several areas throughout Texas. Ms. Wickstrom retired as a Major in 2018 and enjoys supporting her community through volunteering and traveling.
