Roger Walker joined the U.S. Army in 1968. He was a cryptologic interpreter and flew in RU-21 Beechcraft airplanes during his tours in Vietnam. Mr. Walker received the Bronze Star, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross. He now resides at the Ussery-Roan Texas State Veterans Home in Amarillo, Texas.
