Gary Prewitt joined the U.S. Army in 1960. He served a tour in Vietnam with the 23rd Special Warfare Aviation Detachment and worked on the Mohawk Aircraft. Mr. Prewitt left the U.S. Army in 1963. He now resides at the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville, Texas.
