Mr. Alan Pilot of Waco, TX was a Private First Class during WWII and served in the US Army with the 86th Infantry Division. He took part in the infamous Battle of the Bulge in Europe as a combat medic and was ultimately awarded a Bronze Star before he left the Army in 1946 after the conclusion of the war.
