Charles Nimmo served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1947.
Charles Nimmo a native of Cooper, Texas served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1947. He traveled throughout the pacific and spent most of his time in the Philippines as a chauffeur for a Brigadier General. After the service Mr. Nimmo went back to Cooper, Texas and became a Farmer. He was one of the first Veterans to use the VLB Land Loan in 1949. He now resides at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, Texas.
