Earl Morris served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946.
Earl Morris, a native of Westbrook, Texas served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946. He served with the 1st Battalion 383rd Infantry Division. Mr. Morris saw action in the Leyte Gulf and Okinawa. He received the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two Bronze Stars and one Bronze Arrowhead. He also received the Philippine Liberation Medal with two Bronze Stars. Mr. Morris now resides at the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple, Texas.
