Oral History: Leist, Mason

Mason Leist served in the U.S. Army as an infantryman with the 1st Calvary Division from Fort Hood. He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2013 and witnessed the attack on Forward Operating Base Pasab in January 2014. Upon returning home in 2015 he co-founded Honor22, an organization focused on helping Veterans transition to a healthy physical lifestyle after separation from the military. He now resides in San Antonio, Texas.
