Ms. Lacy joined the U.S. Air Force in 1976. She served as a supply specialist at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and in Okinawa, Japan. She left the military in 1979 and now resides at the Richard A. Anderson Texas State Veterans Home in Houston, Texas.
