Oliver Jensen joined the U.S. Navy at the age of seventeen in 1945 for one year and rejoined the Navy in September of 1947. He attended amphibious training and later became an electrician. Mr. Jensen spent time in Korea and was on the USS Polaris. He now resides at the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple, Texas.
