Ken Hinds, a native Texan, joined the US Army in 1969. He worked on howitzers and spent time in the military police. Mr. Hinds had tours in Korea, Vietnam, and Hawaii. He now resides at the Ussery-Roan Texas State Veterans Home in Amarillo, Texas.
