Melissa Harcrow joined the U.S. Army right out of high school in 2002. She started as a unit supply specialist, and in 2011, was accepted into Warrant Officer Candidate School and became a property accounting technician. During her military career, Ms. Harcrow deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Qatar twice. She left the Army in 2014 as a Chief Warrant Officer 2 and is now the West Texas Women Veterans Coordinator for the Texas Veterans Commission.
