Marcelino Gutierrez, a native Texan, joined the U.S. Army in 2000. He became a supply specialist and unit armorer, where he managed and trained personnel on the daily operations of the company arms and supply room. He served in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and deployed to Iraq in 2003. After leaving the Army, Mr. Gutierrez became a Realtor with JB Goodwin in San Antonio, Texas.
