Dave Gebron, a native of Franston, Texas, served in the Marines during WWII with the 5th Amphibian Corps. He was action at Iwo Jima, Saipan, and the Mariana Islands. He left the service as a sergeant and later joined the Army in 1951 and was sent to Korea.
