
Ross Garcia joined the U.S. Navy in 1988 as an Engineman. In 1994 he took First Class Dive school and began his diving career on board the USS Reclaimer ARS-42 in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. During his career, he conducted salvage and underwater repairs to ships and submarines in the ocean around the world. In 2007, he led a dive team to recover the thirteen victims of Minnesota's Interstate 35W Mississippi River Bridge collapse. In 2012 Master Chief Petty Officer Garcia retired and wrote about his leadership experience and serving with America's sons and daughters in uniform in his book, "View Through a Faceplate Window, Adventures of a Navy Master Diver." He now resides in Selma, Texas, and has a podcast where he interviews fellow Navy Divers about their deep sea experiences. https://www.anavymasterdiversadventure.com/
