Dave Fulton, a native of Tennessee, joined the Navy in 1963. He would receive his wings as a pilot and go on to fly the P-3 Orion. When he left the service he had risen to the rank of captain, or 0-6. He is now the director of aviation for the Texas Department of Transportation.
