William Barkley Fritz served in the Navy from 1944-1946.
William Barkley Fritz joined the United States Navy in 1944 at the age of 19. He served on the USS Barrow and saw combat in Iwo Jima and Okinawa during World War II. After his service Mr. Fritz received his masters in mathematics and taught computer science at the University of Delaware.
