Melvin Eichelbaum served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1967 to 1968.
Melvin Eichelbaum joined the U.S. Army National Guard in 1967. He was made Acting Operations Sergeant at Fort Dix until July of 1968 when a unique situation presented itself while in book camp. Mr. Eichelbaum became a lawyer for Bexar County in the legal aid department and has written a book called the Legal Aid Lawyer. He is a member of the Jewish War Veterans Post 753 and resides in San Antonio, Texas.
