Cecil Dendy served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1988.
Cecil Dendy was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1963. He saw action in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968 and was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries he received during combat. Mr. Dendy served twenty-five years in the U.S. Army and retired in 1988. He now resides at the William R. Courtney Home in Temple, Texas.
