Robert Daniels joined the U.S. Air Force in 1949. He served during the Korean War with the 62 nd Troop Carrier Squadron as a radar technician. He left the service in 1953 and worked for Raytheon for thirty-seven years writing manuals and being an instructor for the Hawk missile systems. Mr. Daniels wrote a book about his life called Going Sane One Word at a Time. He now resides at the Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans Home in El Paso, Texas.
