Ms. Millie Dalrymple entered the W.A.S.P. in 1943 after her husband was shot down and killed over Europe.
A graduate of the University of Texas, Ms. Dalrymple would go on to fly countless hours ferrying planes across the United States in support of the war effort. She was recently awarded a Congressional Gold Medal for her actions.
