Carl Cooley served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946.
Carl Cooley a native Texan, was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1943 at the age of eighteen. He served as an Armorer and saw action throughout Europe during World War II. Mr. Cooley received a Purple Heart and the EAME Campaign Medal with three Bronze Stars for his service to our country. He now resides at the Lamun Lusk Sanchez Texas State Veterans Home in Big Spring, Texas.
