Glen Cernik, a native Texan, was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force in 1973. He served in Turkey, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and worldwide as a C-130 pilot. In 1980, Mr. Cernik joined the National Guard and became a pilot for Continental Airlines out of Dallas. He retired from the National Guard as a Lt. Col in 2001 and now resides in Central Texas.
