J.T. Burns served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946.
J.T. Burns a native Texan, was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1943. He saw action throughout the Pacific during World War II. Mr. Burns was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart for his service to our country. He now resides at the Lamun Lusk Sanchez Texas State Veterans Home in Big Spring, Texas.
