Harry Brown enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps the day after Pearl Harbor was attacked at the age of seventeen. He saw action at the Battle of Saipan and served in the Marshall Islands. Mr. Brown left the Marine Corps in 1945 as a truck driver. He now resides at the Watkins Logan Texas State Veterans Home in Tyler, Texas.
