Roy Blanton served as a SSgt in the Army Air Corps during WWII.
A native of Knickerbocker, Texas in Tom Green County, Roy Blanton served as a SSgt in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a nose gunner on B-24s. After the Germans surrendered he served for a period of time as a guard of SS prisoners.
