Buster Lee Bailey served in the U.S. Army Air Forces from 1946 through 1948.
Buster Lee Bailey a native of Dallas, Texas enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Forces in 1946, and served as a Radio Operator. He survived a crash in a C-46 cargo plane on Palmyra Island, about 100 miles south of Hawaii on July 8, 1947. He now resides at the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville, Texas.
