Oral History: Stroud, Tim

Tim Stroud joined the U.S. Army in 1999. He served as a combat medic in Germany and deployed to Kosovo, Kuwait, and Iraq with the 4 ^th Infantry Division for Operation Iraqi Freedom. When Mr. Stroud left the Army in 2003, he focused on supporting Veterans transitioning back to civilian life. Mr. Stroud and his daughter Amber have created a Veterans Service Organization called “ Stay Tuned for Veterans” that provides resources like art therapy, counseling, and support groups for Veterans, military members, and their families. He now resides in Houston, Texas.
