Maria Shipp served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1979.
Maria Shipp joined the U.S. Army in 1961. She served in Okinawa, Korea and Germany as an Air Traffic Controller. She retired in 1989 with a rank of Master Sergeant. Ms. Shipp now resides at the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple, Texas.
