Mr. Pike enlisted into the U.S. Army National Guard in 1982. He attended Clemson University under an ROTC Scholarship and was commissioned in 1988 as a 2LT. He served with the 10th Special Forces Group, out of Fort Devens, MA, with the signal corps and chemical corps. As a Preventive Medicine Officer, Mr. Pike spent over twenty years active duty with the Medical Service Corps. He also worked on the endangered species, the Palos Verdes blue butterfly. Mr. Pike served worldwide, including Italy, Korea, Germany, El Salvador, and Afghanistan. He is a Bronze Star and Legion of Merit recipient. LTC Pike retired in 2014 and has written a book called "A Soldier Against All Odds."
