Oral History: Pierce, Ivan

Ivan Pierce joined the U.S. Army in 1960. Mr. Pierce served fifteen months in Vietnam and wrote a book called An Infantry Lieutenants Vietnam. In 1969 he resigned his commission as a captain and began working for the Boise City Police Department. Mr. Pierce joined the Army National Guard and then went full time for the Army Reserves and retired in 1991 as a Master Sergeant. Mr. Pierce now lives at the Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans Home in El Paso, Texas.
