Mr. Emiel Owens of Houston, TX is a graduate of Prairie View A&M and served as a sergeant in the US Army with the 777th Field Artillery Battalion in Europe during WWII. He took part in intense conflict and was awarded three Bronze Stars.
These powerful memories are recounted in his book "Blood on German Snow - An African-American Artilleryman in WWII and Beyond."
