John Morgan joined the U.S. Army in 1964. He was an Armor Crewman and a Cavalry Scout in Vietnam and was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars. Mr. Morgan retired from the Army as a Platoon Sergeant in 1984 and now resides at the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville, Texas.
