William Miller joined the U.S. Army in 1958 at the age of seventeen. He served in Italy, Germany, Texas, and Vietnam. Mr. Miller served with the 8th R.R.U. Co. as a Military Police Officer in the Hue Pue Bai area of South Vietnam. When he returned to Fort Hood, he became a recruiter and left the service in 1974. Mr. Miller now resides at the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple, Texas.
