John Martin joined the U.S. Air Force in 1961. He spent most of his time in Spain and Germany working in Aircraft Control and with NATO. While in the service, he learned to speak seven languages. Mr. Martin left the service in 1965. He now resides at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, Texas.
