Oral History: Lorbeer, Robert

Robert Lorbeer enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1962 and was appointed to West Point in 1964, where he graduated in 1968. He served in Berlin, Germany, from 1969 to 1970 and in Vietnam from 1970-1971 and was assigned to the 101 ^st Airborne. Returning from Vietnam, he served in Fort Benning, Georgia, and at the Pentagon. He left active duty in 1978, stayed in the reserves, and was recalled to active duty for Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Mr. Lorbeer left the service in 2003 and now resides in Magnolia, Texas.
