George W. Jacobs joined the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves in 1955, and in 1956 he joined the U.S. Air Force. He spent time in Korea, Japan, and the Philippines in Security Police and as a K-9 Instructor. Mr. Jacobs retired from the Air Force in 1976 and now resides at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, Texas.
