Oral History: Hitt, Clark

Clark Hitt, despite being a Texas native, served as a snowtrooper with the U.S. Army's 10th Mountain Division in Europe during WWII. He went through extensive cold weather and skiing instruction before deploying. In Europe he took part in numerous engagements, to include the battle at Hill 913 where future senator Bob Dole was seriously wounded. Mr. Hitt now resides in Sweetwater, Texas.
