Oral History: Helms, Michael

Michael Helms, a native Texan, joined the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1969 and went active duty two years later. He trained as a Hospital Corpsman and served in Yokosuka, Japan. After leaving the service in 1977, Mr. Helms spent thirty-two years in civil service. He now resides at the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville, Texas.
