Oral History: Garcia, Homer

Homer Garcia, a native Texan, joined the U.S. Army in 1990. He served over fifty-four months of combat time, with tours in Iraq, Afganistan, Kosovo, and Kuwait. Mr. Garcia retired as a First Sergeant in 2017 and received several medals, including the Combat Infantry Badge, the Expert Infantry Badge,  and the Bronze Star. He now provides security to the Embassy in Iraq, and currently resides in Georgetown, Texas.
