Michael DeHesus joined the U.S. Army in 1965. He spent two back-to-back tours in Vietnam as an Intelligence Analyst with the 25 th Infantry Division. Mr. DeHesus left the Army in 1968 and was awarded the Bronze Star for his heroism. He now resides at the Richard A. Anderson Texas State Veterans Home in Houston, Texas.
