Edward Conrad joined the U.S. Army Air Forces at the age of 17 in 1935.
Edward Conrad joined the U.S Army Air Forces at the age of 17 in 1935, and served during World War II, Korea & Vietnam. Mr. Conrad was part of the 7th Bombardment Wing and is directly responsible for the regeneration of all B-52 aircrafts returning from combat missions during the Vietnam War. He received Airman of the Year twice during his career in the Air Force and retired in 1966. He now resides at the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville, Texas.
