A graduate of Texas A&M, James Bernsen was working for a U.S. Senator on September 11, 2001 and decided to enter the U.S. Armed Forces after that fateful day.
A graduate of Texas A&M, James Bernsen was working for a U.S. Senator on September 11, 2001 and decided to enter the U.S. Armed Forces after that fateful day. Upon being commissioned, he was made an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve and eventually did a deployment to Baghdad, Iraq in that capacity. He continues his service to this day as a drilling member of the U.S. Navy Reserve and has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant commander.
