Andrew Bardagjy was an Army corporal with the 103rd Infantry Division and fought through frigid conditions in Germany. He was awarded a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart for his actions. In this interview he recounts tales of fierce combat and his eventual capture by the Nazis. Bardagjy also recalls how he survived as a prisoner-of-war and the emotions he felt upon gaining his freedom.
