Post-nourishment beach benthic invertebrate monitoring

Project Description

TAMUCC will use Coastal Management Program Cycle 28 §309 funding to conduct post-nourishment benthic sampling for at least 18 months following nourishment at Jamaica and Sargent beaches (and their respective control beaches). These data as well as pre-nourishment data collected in the Cycle 26 project will be used to assess time for the benthic invertebrate community to recover following a beach nourishment event.
