The Clean Coast Texas Collaborative Years 5 & 6

Project Description

The Grantee will use Coastal Management Program Cycle 29 Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act (GOMESA) funds in CCTC Years 5 and 6 to (1) establish an “Upper Coast Hub” led by AgriLife through the Texas Community Watershed Partners (TCWP) and a “Lower Coast Hub” led by the Grantee to engage with communities across the coast; (2) expand upon current engagement with four new partnering communities; (3) engage and coordinate with partnering communities, GLO, and engineer subcontractors procured through the GLO on the site selection, planning, engineering design, permitting, and construction implementation phases of four stormwater infrastructure projects (retrofits); (4) conduct community engagement, education, and capacity building through technical workshops, trainings, public meetings, and volunteer events, development of grant applications; and (5) pursue Sustainable Stormwater Manual (SSM) adoption.
